  • Gold Phantom

    Crater Lake National Park is home to many wonders - one of which is Phantom Ship island. The 170-foot tall island is comprised of a natural volcanic rock pillar that was given its name from its resemblance to a ghost ship in foggy conditions. Phantom Ship is one of two islands inside the lake. Wizzard Island is the second and largest.

  • Hot & Cold

    In July of 2020, the Caldwell Fire erupted south of the Lava Beds National Monument in far Northern California. The fire was fueled by hot dry winds and quickly grew to over 80,000 acres. Location: Tulelake, California

    This historic art deco drawbridge spans the Siuslaw River along the Oregon Coast. Built in 1936, this 1568 foot long masterpiece connects the towns of Florence and Glenada, Oregon. Location: Florence, Oregon.

  • The Greatest Generation

    One of the most unique sculpture displays is located in Northern California just off US Highway 97 north of Weed. The Living Memorial Sculpture Garden is home to several metal displays depicting military life and heritage. This display is called "The Greatest Generation" and was constructed in honor of those who fought in WWII. The sculpture is inspired by the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.   • McArthur's Myst

    Located in Northern California east of Redding, is McArthur-Burney State Park home to Burney Falls. A 250-foot wide, 129-foot tall waterfall. Where much of the falls water seeps directly from the rock face. Location: Burney Falls, California

  • Quaint Retreat

    Nestled along the North Umpqua Highway in the Central Oregon Cascades, Whitehorse Falls drops just 14 feet on the Clearwater River. Location: Whitehorse Falls, Oregon

  • A Simple Fall

    Bridalveil Falls plunges 620' into Yosemite Valley. When we were there the flow was not large and thunderous but rather the water was quiet and ebbed and flowed with the wind. Location: Yosemite National Park, California
